My Chiropractic Story
When I was in 5th grade, I moved to a small town where my family started a new life. Moves tend to be stressful in ways we do not fully realize at the time! While it was a great move for everyone involved, my body experienced continual stress during the transition. Soon after moving to the new town, I woke up one morning in excruciating pain and was unable to walk unassisted. My family was dumbfounded as to why I was in such extreme pain since there was no physical injury in recent history. The decision was made to take me to our family chiropractor immediately. Receiving some relief after the first adjustment, I was completely pain-free and walking normally after the second adjustment!
This life-changing experience had a profound impact on me: I learned that stress can manifest as physical pain and dysfunction in the body at any age and that the body is designed to heal itself when the interference to healing is removed. Because of my personal experience at a young age, I chose to pursue a career in chiropractic, which provides me the opportunity to remove that interference in my patients allowing their bodies to heal naturally.
